order to ensure a trouble-free transition, it is important
to confirm that the following tasks are completed prior
to your relocation:
Change
of address: Inform your local post office,
friends, creditors, magazines, and others of your new
address. Utilities:
Make sure that all of your utilities will be turned
off in your old location and turned on in your new location! Floor
and wall protection: Check with your building
management or landlord regarding required protection
against damage during the move. Certificate
of insurance: Some buildings require a certificate
on insurance Please check with your building management
regarding their requirements. Parking:
Confirm parking restrictions with the building management
or local police department at both your old and new
locations to avoid parking problems. Service
elevator: Be sure to note the locations of
service-elevators at both your old and new locations.
Many locations require that you reserve the elevators
during scheduled moving times. If you have any questions
